The Rat Race

If you have never played Robert Kiyosaki’s Cash flow 101 game I suggest you pick it up for your family and start playing that game. When friends come over you can engage them in playing that game and getting the creative juices flowing. 

 

Escaping the Rat race (Corporate America) so its called is not for many people, however those that eventually escape the race, they are not in for peaches and cream because striking it out on your own can be a very scary thing. However, the time freedom and the and the ability to answer to yourself and your customers is a very exhilarating thing. 

 

There are a few ways that you can escape the Rat race, but then again if escaping was for everyone then there would be no Corporate workers to do the work. So not everyone can and will venture out on their own. We were conditioned to want something we call “Stable” when corporate America can be the most unforgiving and most unstable platform there is. Schools teach us to find a job that fits the skills that we acquired and go to work to build someone else’s empire. Do you want an Empire of your own? Why do we cling to the false safety of corporate America?

My mentor Jim Rohn always said that profits are better than wages, and you can live anyway you want to live, either fine or super fine. Now wages can earn you a living, while profits can earn you a fortune.

Over the past 2 years on my 3 to 5 year journey to financial freedom, I’ve been learning the skills that allow me to make the next 5 years better than the past. Escaping the Rat Race can be achieved in so many areas and I will name a few.

1. Start a Network Marketing business – Most people are so negative to starting a business that can help them start at the bottom and build your way to the top with a training system that will allow you to learn as you grow for future business ventures. The entry barrier is so minimal that its worth the shot to build this part time while you work full-time.
2. Real Estate – Now is the opportune time to get into Real Estate. However, if you don’t know what you are doing you can loose your shirt with investments in the wrong area. Fortunately for us we have been mentored by some of the best in the industry (cost a pretty penny). However, when you know how to find the right deals with the right numbers, you can’t go wrong at all. Caution: Only go into Real Estate if you have money to invest and loose and you have been trained on knowing the numbers of a great deal.

    

3. Internet / Affiliate Marketing – This avenue can be the most rewarding and also frustrating at the same time. However, again if you can identify the correct niche to grow into, there is no way that you can fail. You don’t need a website, a product of your own or must experience to get into Internet Marketing, and Affiliate marketing can pay your mortgage with a 5 minute email to your List. If you don’t have a list, you first need to learn how to create one.
