Putting God First!

Matthew 6:33 Seek First the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these shall be added to you.

Is God really your first priority? Or Is He only first when you need something from Him? But after God gives it to you, you get amnesia.
Then you go back to doing what you were doing before by, putting God second, third, and even last.

Priority means the fact or condition of being regarded or treated as more important.
First means coming before all others in time or order.

Just think about it for a moment. Ask yourself, do I really put God first? Do I eat my food first and then study the Word of God? Do I talk to my friends on the phone first? Do I see whose on Facebook first? Even though your conversation may be a good one but did you leave God out of it? Whatever you give more attention to, is where your priority will be.
Just take an inventory of the things you put before God and you’ll see who’s first.
Maybe some of the things you have been praying about haven’t manifested because you have your priorities in the wrong place.

God has always put us first. Even when He sent His only Son, Jesus to die on the cross for our sins that we may be saved and have Eternal Life. When have you put God first, lately?
Have you repented for not putting God first? Have you asked Him to forgive you for not putting Him first? Have you asked Him to come into your life and save you?

Every morning that God wakes you up, do you say thank you? Do you thank God for your food, for your home, for your family, for transportation, for money, or for your job? God supplies all these necessary things for us every day and even the air we breathe. How about if God didn’t put us first, where would we be?
Start putting God first and obeying Him then you will experience things in your life that you have never known.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.

God is the air we breathe. Every day we wake up, God is putting us first. This is why I will praise Him with my whole heart. This is why I worship Him every morning, and this is why I give Him thanksgiving every day.
