"Where LOVE will Never give up on You"
The Lord has given us the tools that we need to change the course of our lives.
You may ask the following question: What are the tools? God has given us our words with Power and Authority.
He lets us know this in the Bible.
In Proverbs 18:21; death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they who love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
The tongue can be used as a weapon to harm and destroy as well as a tool to build and heal.
This verse means that the words we speak can have a powerful impact on others, either to build up or down them.
The words we speak can inspire and encourage others, or they can deflate and discourage them.
The Bible also commands Christians to control their tongues (weapons) and keep them from evil.
Psalm 34:13 says, keep (our tongues) from evil and our lips from speaking lies.
I remember as I was growing up, I used to hear older people say: it’s a bad wind that doesn’t change its course.
This means that if you keep going in the same direction or doing the same thing, you are going to get the same results.
Do you want to change the course of your life? Or do you not want to change? If you don’t want to change then you don’t want to grow. Everything living is growing.
God put us on this earth, in His Kingdom to study, learn, love, and grow. We are to build our relationship with God and others. We are to get to know Our Heavenly Father so we can hear Him, as He directs our lives. But we can not do these things if we don’t want to change the course of our lives. Our lives do not belong to us. We must decide who we are going to obey. We must decide what direction we are going; we must know our purpose.
For example: I may say, “I’m going to cut back on eating sugar or I’m not eating after 7:00 p.m.”
I’m changing the course of my life. I have the power to change where I’m headed whether it's bad or good. You too have the power to change the course of your life. God gives us free will. Will your decision be the right one or the wrong one?
James 3:10-12; out of the same mouth come praise and cussing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring?
My brothers and sisters can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs?
In conclusion: Make sure that you are speaking the same thing so that you can produce the right fruit and that your fruit may remain.
“YOU” HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE THE COURSE OF YOUR LIFE.
